Horizontal parting: One of the parting methods of sand molds in sand casting, it refers to the parting surfaces of the upper and lower sand molds (upper box and lower box) being in a horizontal direction. It is the most common parting form, which is convenient for core setting, box closing and casting demolding, and is widely used in the production of various castings. The two are often used in combination, that is, the vertical molding machine adopts the horizontal parting method to make sand molds, in order to balance production efficiency and operational convenience.
